This week we are on holiday from school but need lots of things to do . There will be the usual , swimming, football, beavers, but also some special activities.
The only problem with a week away from school for my son is that like any typical 5 year olds he forgets some of what he is doing at school in terms of numbers and reading. I have to admitt we pack so much into our week off that it is good to go back to school for a rest.
But we do love to play games, educational Games!!! on the computer, we have a number of discs we look at and play but i have just discovered this great site for learning games activities for kids. My son loves it . Take a look for your self if you have kids from 5 to 12 years of age they will too.

I use this site often in my classroom. I also use it as a homework stimulator. Instead of just writing out your spelling words I use it as ~ go on to elearning and write a short recount of what you found. The kids love it as they feel that they are playing games on the computer rather than learning.
